Hello Captain,Have you by any chance installed the DSDG freeware Burj Dubai and/or the sheik zayed road freeware packages, they can lead to this problem I have noticed myself.Also , have you maybe installed any of the MEGA Airport packages more specifically Frankfurt or Arlanda , they can give texturing problems (flickering) and very rarely CTD's too.

Hi. I do not have the freeware you mention, but I do have both ESSA and EDDF. Anyway, I believe to have had it working properly with both these installed.Update: I replaced the entire "scenery" folder again, and then removed "land_5.bgl" and "palm_5.bgl" from it. After this I could start it at day, but some textures seems to be missing, big rectangular patches of texture outside the airport is darker than the surrounding, and the entire scenery flickers from time to time to a darker shade..../J

The texturing problem is definitely from the MEGA Airport sceneries, most likely the EDDF one, check the flytampa forum it is a recurring issue.The files you had to delete are only Landclass BGL's that do nothing more than shape the coast so that the big palm island shows up.There is a freeware package that basically does the same and works with flytampa's OMDB.in the library just search for "dubai_islands_projects.zip" made by Richard Faith and Matthew Ministry. http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...atID=fs2004scen

Hi Johan,VPA342 here :( Very strange and frustrating thing as well. I would be mad in your situation. As you, I have Aerosoft Mega Airports series and Dubai, but did not experience your problems, I pray for the future :( .In my opinion there is some conflict with other sceneries.
