Hello there, looks like I'll finally be getting this, but there are a few things I want to know first. The developer is gone, the site is gone, Flight1 still sells it with a notice. One thing I would need is the Ultimate Terrain patch, is it still available somewhere? Or can one of you possibly send it to me when the time comes?What I also want to know is how well it works with FlyTampa's KBOS (v3). And perhaps there are other issues I should know about?Thanks for any info you guys can give me!:(

I've never used the .EXE patch for Ultimate Terrain compatibility, but I have used the "manual" editing method of getting it to work. For anyone finding this thread a few weeks from now, here are the instructions I've used to achieve 100% compatibility with Ultimate Terrain...

1- Rename the files installed in ...\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\Name\Scenery: HP928170-FSFZ01.bgl and HP929170-FSFZ01.bgl to .XXX or something other than .bgl.

Greg's Note - After the release of the FZ01 Service Pack, there are (2) other files in that directory with the same format... I altered the name on all 4 files total.

2- Rename all files starting with "FZ01" in your...\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\FlightZone01_LC\Scenery folder. These are the coastline "beaches" and will be replaced by UT's.

Greg's Note - Instead of renaming, I moved all the listed files to a new folder I created. This removes them from the flightsim scenery library and it works just like renaming, except I don't have to muss and fuss with renaming a dozen or so files.

3 - Be sure that Flight Zone PVD is a higher priority (lower number) in the scenery library in FS9 than UT. The FZ SC instance must be higher (lower number)than FZ LC instance, and both must be above UT.

This instruction set works great for me, and I don't have to worry about any .EXE file making these changes and potentially messing with the scenery library, which can be a real &@^! to repair. Good luck!-Greg
