August 13, 201015 yr Hi,Well, I couldn't take it any more, got tied of waiting so I went and purchased two EVGA 480 GTX video boards. This will kick up the resolution on my three Samsung SyncMaster T260HD 25.5" monitors.Just got tied of the Triple Head2Go and the reduced resolution. Anyway, guess I'll be selling my TH2Go Digital.Time to take my Flight Sim computer apart and get this thing hooked up. August 14, 201015 yr Author Hi,Well the install is complete, what an incredible difference!!!. I'm now running the sim at 5760x1200x32. Its not exactly trouble free, I am once again getting some screen tearing. Guess I'll have to start looking for some GTX480 tweaks. As a side note, my system still does not like BP=0 Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck

I can fly for hours (which in fact I do...) and sweet as can be.[bUFFERPOOLS]RejectThreshold=126976That's it under [bUFFERPOOLS]. You need nothing else under that entry.Cheers,Mitch
August 14, 201015 yr Author Hi Mitch,I'll give it a shot right after I get finished fixing my Level-D problems. I'm getting black 2D screens and a flashing mouse pointer. I figured out the problem, I'm in the process of setting up the panel. I need to resize some stuff. Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------Mike, try this...it gives me all the perks and smoothness of BP=0, but no more artifacts. August 15, 201015 yr Commercial Member Hey Mike, Please let us know it it works out. Are you running the boards in SLI mode or not? Creating separate windows or running fll screen across all three monitors? FPS with all three lit up? I had always read that running two boards was a no-no with flightsim. Has that changed?thx,CLutch Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!) August 15, 201015 yr Author Hi Clutch,I finished working on the Level-D panel and it works great, no more black screens and/or flashing mouse pointer. The only thing I did not setup was Level-D's main 2D panel, I run VC so there was no need to set this up. Since it takes me so long to adjust the screen by opening/closing FSX after an adjustment I decided not to work on this panel. I can now press the (A) key and cycle through all panels with no problems. The boards are running in SLI (Surround) mode and I have Level-D's VC panel across all three of my monitors at a resolution of 5760x1200. The screen shot provided has been reduced. The screen shot does not do this system justice, when looking at this via my three Samsung SyncMaster T260HD monitors at over 76 inches across, the view is incredible.Nvidia Inspector Settings: Antialiasing=16X / Antialiasing Transparency Supersampling= 8X / Ansiotropic=16XI've also kicked up a few details within FSX's config file.Cloud_Cover_Density=12CLOUD_DRAW_DISTANCE=12Texture_Max_Load=4096AirlineDensity=75LOD_Radius=9.500000My FPS on average hover in the mid to upper 20's and that is at a major airport designed by FSDreamTeam, like KJFK or KDFW. I also do not suffer from waiting on graphic updates when changing views, the blurry graphics that use to take a few seconds to clear up on my Nvidia GTX285 board are gone. The scenery is crisp and clean.I don't know what others have said about running SLI (Surround), but it works just fine on my system. If there was a problem running SLI its either gone, or I'm just very lucky. Hey Mike, Please let us know it it works out. Are you running the boards in SLI mode or not? August 15, 201015 yr That's hot. I have a T260 and love it. Too bad they don't sell them in Thailand anymore cuz I'd love 1 more to wrap around and make 3 with my other 25.5" monitorI gotta wonder though, how do you get those frame rates. I can't even get 20 fps in the default 737 at KLAX or KJFK on one monitor, and my computer stats are pretty damn similar to yours (minus the two GPUs)*Sigh* Makes me wonder where I went wrong with my build.
August 15, 201015 yr Hey Michael,Good to see you got it running. Coincidentally, I ordered 2 GTX 480s over the weekend to replace my 5870 that powers my 3 Samsung T260HD. Did you have any snags trying to get the GTX 480s to work in SLI with FSX? I haven't used SLI since the 7900 Nvidia days, and back then the mouse pointer would flash continuously. I assume the black screen and mouse pointer issue you mentioned had to do with the panel size entries in the panel.cfg, which I also had to edit to eliminate the problem in Eyefinity.Best wishes, Russell Johnston
August 15, 201015 yr Author Hi Russert,Setting up SLI was a piece of cake, just had to use Nvidia's control panel. Setting up FSX was easy as well, I just selected 5760x1200x32. The only two problems I had are listed below.1. Black Screens / Constant Pointer Flash, Fixed by editing/resizing the 2D panel settings.2. Had to install Nvidia Inspector to make FSX changes (Antialiasing=16X / Antialiasing Transparency Supersampling= 8X / Ansiotropic=16X)So far that's the extent of my problems. August 15, 201015 yr Michael,Thanks for the reply. Sounds good -- although I just noticed your thread above, so it appears there may be more problems after all =( Russell Johnston
