For the same reason that they make 737s and regional turboprops; they tend to be a better sales proposition because the flight times are generally 1-2 hours, which fits in well with what the majority of simmers prefer. I thought that is what time compression is for? AFAIK The PMDG 744 is the best selling addon in FS, after Aerosoft's AES.

Oh for crying out loudNot a single one of them high fidelity in the class with PMDG or LDS. Are there only TWO development houses with gauge programmers who know what they are doing? This whole "we keep it simple" crap is wearing old. Take the highly complex LDS 767 or PMDG 747...don't want to learn how to use the aircraft - simply load it with in "ready to fly" mode - load a FSBuild flightplan and you can be flying in less than 1 minute. On the other hand at least the rest of us who have taken the time to learn our aircraft have an option too.

Lol Mike but what most people underestimated is that:- It takes time to develop from scratch an 757 close to the real world not some basic stuff :-)(there are more differences between an 767 and an 757, hence even between 757 aircraft there are differences) - We are a small team working after their day job on our beloved 757 unfortunately not full time...Joined LDS at 2008 and have a lot of hours in this one and believe me it won't be so long as that MD11 (which is great stuff) lolThis aircraft will have a lot of passion for aviation and it's all about simulating a complex airliner close to the real world counterpart.Cheers,

If I were you, I wouldn't spread your efforts for FSX, since MSF is coming.
