Any quality Airbus out there?

I've looked around before, but am unsure who has the best airbus plane or planes, what do you recommend?

Aerosoft is due to release their FSX-only 320/321 by the end of this month. It looks great and may be later enhanced with more sophisticated features. Here's the link: Aerosoft AirbusFlight Sim Labs is also developing a 320, but it'll probably be some time before its release...Flight Sim Labs AirbusWilco may release an enhancement of its Airbus, but I don't know the ETA for that.

Oh for crying out loud- Wilco A320 PIC (old and for FS2002 - but groundbreaking at the time)- PSS A320 (really old)- Wilco A320v2 PIC (not worthy of the PIC name)- Airsimmer A320 (nor worthy to even be called an Airbus)- Aerosoft A320 (another scaled down pretty plane with low fidelity)Not a single one of them high fidelity in the class with PMDG or LDS. Are there only TWO development houses with gauge programmers who know what they are doing? This whole "we keep it simple" crap is wearing old. Take the highly complex LDS 767 or PMDG 747...don't want to learn how to use the aircraft - simply load it with in "ready to fly" mode - load a FSBuild flightplan and you can be flying in less than 1 minute. On the other hand at least the rest of us who have taken the time to learn our aircraft have an option too. Seriously, how many more simple A320s are coming down the pipe?

are you mad, bro?  :(

That Aerosoft bus looks great, just a shame it will be a watered down "light" simulation. Whenever a developer is using the word "light" means a no-go for me. I seriously doubt FSLabs bus will be light tho, at least judging from their previously released product. Oh, there are other developers than PMDG and Level-D that are producing high fidelity simulations as well. Like Leonardo software house. Or FSLabs. Im sure its possible to add a bunch of other names as well.

I wouldn't pass judgement on the Aerosoft Airbus until it is released.Bob

Watch out, Bob, or Arklight1, a frequent poster here, will penalize you 15 yards for common sense on the play...but I agree with you anyway. :(

The most accurate FS Airbus is currently the SimCheck A300-B4, which is pretty much like the real deal in most respects, but that's an 'old school' Airbus and probably not what you meant.Best hope for a FBW 'Bus is probably either Flight Sim Lab's forthcoming A320 (not due out for some time) or the proposed later add-on to the Aerosoft A320, which is going to have more systems simulated and will apparently be a low-cost upgrade if you have their 'lite' A320 that is due out in a week or so.There is also the forthcoming upgrade and tart up of the Wilco Airbuses, and at present they are probably the most logical choice for a buyer. The CLS 'Bus is quite nice, but it is by no means an in-depth sim with regard to systems, however, it does do the FBW pitch limitations fairly well for all that.Al

Yup! I second that. You can add A2A for example...

The most accurate out there indeed. Really nice... Graphically a tad below what's done nowadays but still VERY good and accurate.

Watch out !!! :(

Best regards, Fritz ESSONO

The Aerosoft bus may be short on complexity but it looks very well polished as a product, Compare that to the Just Flight A320 released last week.Just curious, why everyone is doing the A320 but no A330/A340?

Just curious, why everyone is doing the A320 but no A330/A340?
For the same reason that they make 737s and regional turboprops; they tend to be a better sales proposition because the flight times are generally 1-2 hours, which fits in well with what the majority of simmers prefer. Simulating nine-hour flights across the Pacific in a bigger Airbus is not as popular, as a result, the add-ons in which you can do that are not as popular either.Al

Pfff, i think I'm gonna sit this one out and wait for the new addons for MICROSOFT FLIGHT, the next flightsim................:( Hehehe , waited a long time before I could say that.

are you mad, bro?  :(
No, not at you ...at the news of another stripped down airbus from Aerosoft! Can we just get ONE complete airbus? :(
