August 24, 201015 yr Commercial Member Thanks Jeroen for giving folks a heads up on this. You kindly made a map for our forum users, which I've shown below and also edited to show how PF fills the northern gap between PNW and Tongass. In addition to Bill being on the team, recent signings include Bob Bernstein, who's working on a PNW version of his FS9 Classic W16 Monroe Firstar, and Alexander Metzger (ex DA) who is doing the FDX for the Lancair IVP due soon. Cheers, John Venema
August 24, 201015 yr Wow!! I really wasn't expecting another PNW region till well into 2011,This is fantastic news!!!!!Actually (to be more precise) you should say 'another FTX NA Blue region'. PNW and NR (I typed NRM on the map but it actually is NR) and PF are all NA Blue regions. FTX Australia regions are called AU Blue, AU Gold, AU Red and AU Green.FTX North America has various regions divided into smaller parts. The first region is NA Blue, which is divided into NA Blue PNW, NA Blue NR and NA Blue PF (with NA Blue SR (Southern Rockies) coming in the future). Another promised region will be NA Gold, and the first part of that one will be NA Gold NC (Northern California). I don't really know if NA Gold also will have more than one subregion (they haven't been announced yet) but I suppose (and hope) so.
August 24, 201015 yr Should have asked earlier but does anyone know a approximate time frame for PDX/SEA? Eric
August 24, 201015 yr Commercial Member Should have asked earlier but does anyone know a approximate time frame for PDX/SEA?I can't speak for SEA, but it's still too early to project anything for PDX. All I can say is it's in the works. August 24, 201015 yr Wow, Bob Bernstein. Now there is a blast from the past. I used to converse with Bob way back in the FS5 days. I guess I didn't realize he had gotten onto scenery design to the degree he did following those days, when I myself took a hiatus from FS between about 1998-2004.
