I bought the LCF model yesterday and everything was fine. However today I have found that my cargo options have changed? I have included a screen shot to illustrate what I mean. I do not understand why? Can anyone help?Thank YouBarrie Davies

I went back to the config manager and selected another model the 400F then saved the changes. Opened the config manager again and selected LCF and saved the changes again. This solved the problem of the cargo loader but I have found another problem. Since installing the LCF the models of the 400F and 747-8F are not functioning properly. The main gear appear on the prview and when I load the aircraft it causes plane to crash into the ground. See attached image. Any suggestions? ThanksBarrie Davies

http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library You could try registry repair tool. When selecting the PMDG plane do you get the pop up. It seems the Plane is not loading right

Just ran the registry repair, it did not solve the problem. Both Freighter versions seem to be effected. The passenger versions do not have the problem described above. They load correctly.Barrie Davies

I have just uninstalled the LCF, this did not solve the problem. I then unistalled the 747-8 expansion model. This did not solve the problem, the original 747-400F model was still loading with the main gear down. I am now attempting to reinstall the 747-8 expansion and LCF to see if this solves the error.Barrie Davies

Maybe before you do that you might as well reinstall the 747-400X also. I am concluding this might be the cause of all the problems

I just ran flight sim after reinstalling the 747-8 and LCF and the problem remained the same. i am now attempting to install the original 747 base product to see if this resolves the issue. Fingers crossed :Praying:Barrie Davies

I just thought of something people might want to try. How about using the config manager, setting it back to the -400 original. Then save and maybe even load a flight, then exit FS and rerun the manager and swap to the LCF. Maybe this problem and the door issue is because of something in the Aircraft.cfg from the -8i still being present?Worth a shot.

I have now done a repair on all pmdg 747 models but the problem has not been solved. I have also tried Dans suggestion (thanks for that :Idea:) but unfortunately this has not worked either. I am next going to completley remove all pmdg 747 models and install the again. I can't think of anything else to do?Barrie Davies

Did you submit a ticket? They should help. Honestly if all fails when I can't figure out problems I just reinstall everything including FSX

No I have not done a ticket. I have not used the support before so will give it a try maybe, but for now I am reinstalling the base package and the 747-8 expansion as I have not had any trouble with those i will leave the LCF for now. Hopefully this will solve the issue for now. I don't want to reinstall fsx if I don't have to. Thanks for the help.Barrie Davies

Hi just found out i got the same problem with the main wheels down and nose gear retracted in the preview on the freighter versions of the 747-400 but not with the pax version aftet installing the lcf also when i try to load any othe the other pmdg version of the freighter version it crashes after loading to airport so hopefully some one has the fix for this problem since now can only fly the lcf at the moment looks like the problem lies within the pmdg 747-400 config maanger since all freighter version will crash tried every prossible combinations but stil same

Hi just to let u know about the problem with the LCf the main wheels down and nose wheel up and than the plane crashes on loading think i mite have solved the problem well it works on my pc with no troubles yet. On the 747-400 config manager i selected the lcf than saved it, than opened up fsx than i selected the cessna than went to airport once loaded than i selected any 747-400f wether being the lcf or any other version it didnt crash although the preview still showed the main wheels down and nose wheel up. So if u leave the selection on lcf in the config manager and than u can slect any freighter version u like and it shud work as on my pc so hope this helps with previous posts.
