Built in Mic

Featured Replies

I'm trying to use a built in mic in my computer. However every time I try to talk there is no response. Is there a hotkey for talking or something. I think my mic should work, i fly on vatsim with it.

FS2Crew starts voice recognition once the FS2Crew main panel has been displayed (at least once by left clicking the VSI guage). You need to follow the instructions in the manual step by step. Are you seeing your commands display in a green bar (ensure the DSP button is on in the FSCrew Main panel.Best wishesSteve

There is no hot-key.Do you see anything in the Green bar?Does the "VOICE" button on the FS2Crew Main Panel stay on?If not, ensure your Speech Recognizer is set to English - US, not English - UK.Also, I would not recommend using a built-in mic. It's liable to pick up too much background noise.I suggest getting a USB headset. You can pick one up for around $20 USD.Cheers,

Windows Speech Recognition (the little bar that appears on the top of the screen) must be 'off' before you start FS2Crew.Cheers,
