I'd like to ask something..does it give taxi instructions also to AI aircraft via taxiways? Would it be possible to determine an AI's taxi route then give a corresponding clearance?

Thank you for your answer. I'll try to explain a little bit. The absence of metric FL is a big drawback for the FS9. RC is the last hope to see the metric FL in the FS9. Try to implement and it will be a revolutionary innovation, and make the RC very popular in countries with the metric standart. I know that the sim uses the ft, but the RC can use the sound files recorded with the metric commands. I really hope that the developers will listen and understand.

Many good suggestions and thanks for your interest. One thing that Radar Contact development always has to consider is what is real world ATC procedures and what are nice to do's. It is a hard and fast rule in Radar Contact that real world Air Traffic Control procedures are always to be followed. :( Having said that, Only Russia and China use meters, and in China, the meters are given so as to equate to Flight Levels.Not quite the answer you were looking for but that is real world. We have so many new procedures, SID/STARS as examples coming in RC5 just a lot of work to get them done in a reasonable time. :( Bob

RCv5 will work with FS9 and FSX.

Bob, thank you for your response. I really glad to hear that the new version will contain many new things, and I hope they will all be made. I do not insist to see at once, may be later. Just interesting to nowis it possible to realize this technically.

One of the nice things about software ANYTHING is possible, well almost. :( Will RC development spend anytime doing a conversion code, maybe number 1000 on the to-do-list :( So many "real things" to do for V5 and beyond. If you want a taste of what its like for v5, take a look at some IFR plates around the world and study just SIDS, how they are constructed and tied to different runways etc, the combinations are just awesume. Same thing for STARs. Now once you understand that, imagine the menu structure that is SIMPLE to put all that together so as to be intuitive and then listen to a beta team argue and fight about that point :(

Ok, Bob. I already now how SIDS and STAR are constructed, because Iam real pilot, and I use it almost every day B) Often I fly over Russia, and very interesting to see FL in meters in FS9. But Iam not a programmer and I dont now technical feasibility to do this.
