Does this mean I will always have to manually control the throttles? (which I am totally willing to do if it saves me $30 for the time being)
Even with FADEC working you'd still have to manually control the power levers. FADEC is not an "autothrottle..."Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) will automatically maintain a specific amount of thrust, selected by detent: CLIMB, CRUISE, etc.I suspect that you (a) haven't even looked at the manual(s) yet, and (b) haven't unlocked the power levers!Click on the panel area just below the levers to move them from Cutoff to Idle position.See: Cockpit Layout Guide.pdf on page 7 for a picture and explanation.

Ah! Thanks. Yeah I have been looking over the manuals but I must have glossed over that.

Hello, everyone, I purchase this wonderful bird over a year ago, and I now have the time to fly, however, I can not get the throttle to work right, I have played with the FSUIPC settings and nothing is working, can someone PM me the settings so I can get the bird to work right, I have join the Eaglesoft support forum but they have not aciviated my account yet to research this problem that everyone is having to get the throttles to work correctly.Thanks for any help.John NelsonMontana..Oh, I have a registered verision of FSUIPC
