October 10, 201015 yr Author Alright well I know what i'm doing now, i'm ordering the Saitek rudder pedals and then getting the flight system and buy an extra throttle quadrant. Then later on i'll get TrackIR5 as well. Thanks to everyone and Turbine 777 for helping me make my final decision. But I have just one more question for you after watching your video. If I have an i3 @ 2.93 GHZ not OC, Windows 7 64-bit, Inspiron 580 6GB DDR3 Ram at 1133MHZ with one slot left for 8GB and an Intel ® HD Graphics Card, what graphics card should I get for my system?
October 10, 201015 yr It depends on what you want to spend on a video card as well as what your motherboard will support. I imagine it has at least one PCI express 16x?I think a 460 or 480 might be in your grasp but not sure. i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
October 11, 201015 yr Author Ok cool, where can I take my PC and get it checked out to see what I can upgrade? I want a i-7 900+. Would an i-7 make FSX run smoother when talking about frames per second?TTYL, going to bed for school tomorrow, how fun!:(

When I dumped my AMD for the i7 957 Extreme, I was amazed at the performance gain. I keep telling my pig-headed brother, who seems to want to build his new computer with an AMD processor, that the i7 is the ONLY way to go.
