October 12, 201015 yr I did and I'm convinced it's KLAS!Buddy MorganSee at first when I put it the number to flight aware the last flight shown was klas, but I doubt that the plane number is the same as the flight number... Steven Penninck
October 12, 201015 yr In that shot, the background shows no taller buildings than two or three stories; instant give-away that it was neither Las Vegas nor Pheonix (As both KLAS and KPHX are smack dab where the large 5-to-70 story buildings are.)Still, great shot. Brandon should win a reward. :( Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
October 12, 201015 yr The give-away was the air stairs. I don't think SWA uses that at any other airport regularly.
October 12, 201015 yr Wow that was a wild guess. Just flew from BUR - LAS via Southwest a few months ago and noticed those mountains in the background looked familiar. So free copy of the NGX Ryan?? -Brandon Burkley Brandon Burkley
October 12, 201015 yr Commercial Member I figured the stairs would give it away - that airport is very unique, there are no jetways whatsoever, you actually walk out to the plane and board via either the front or rear stairs (we went to the back, ended up in row 19 on the left side) - got some great views of LA and then Edwards AFB on the VNY8.PMD departure back to Phoenix. The other really unique thing is the total lack of a taxi at all after landing, the gates are literally right off the south end of Runway 8 after you land, you just roll right in. We were off the plane within minutes after landing, really cool. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

However, my way back from Vegas was one of the bumpiest flights I've been on. We actually landed opposite the normal pattern on 26 after circling around the San Fernando valley. The pilot hand flew it in and we touched down hard enough to make my hangover want to explain itself to the seat in front of me. My warm welcome home from Vegas. Brandon Burkley
