I haven't participated on the avsim forums in quite some time because of this. The general attitude is rude at best. Newbs that don't put their last name getting flamed or locked on their first posts... Honest questions getting 50 different smart a$$ responses... Life is too short for that nonsense. It's quite a shame really.

I for one just want to eat my hotdog, be fat and happy... No need to take a tour of the sausage factory...

Awesome! You're gonna have the time of your life down there bud! The Texan II looks like so much fun. I parked next to one of the Vance T-6's at KOUN a few years ago... Made my cherokee look like an ultralight! So whats the next step? I guess you'll either move into T-1s? Or something for a helo track? Cheers! Bud

I believe that there is a way to do it via LUA script run through FSUIPC... There was one made for the PMDG J41 that was awesome... but! Unfortunately, I wouldn't know where to begin on creating something like that or if it's even feasible for the Carenado. Cheers! Bud

Lee - You wouldn't know whether or not the released SP1 and 2 are included in the simmmarket download by chance would you? I just bought it from simmarket and I'm unsure where to get the patches or if I need them. Thanks! Bud

Being in the oil business, I've learned one thing is for certain... Lawyers or the threat of litigation have killed more deals than I care to imagine. P3d is the ONLY logical successor to FSX IMHO and it would be a shame if devs were scared off by potential litigation threats.

That's nothing... Ya'll should have seen the look on the face of the guy whose hanger is across from mine when on his 182 he: 1) failed to set the parking brake... 2) put about an inch of throttle in... and 3) proceeded to prop start his plane with nobody at the controls....After diving out of the way, he got to watch his beloved, unmanned C182 careen across our runway and groundloop into a bar ditch...

It has been mentioned that there is a performance update. That's what I'm most excited about, as well as tutorial #2... SDK doesn't mean that much to me at this point...

I love as2012 but have never really messed much with xgauge. I wonder if it would be possible to use the data from xgauge to model the weather radar on the NGX? Could it be done with the SDK? Seems like a good solution to the accuracy problems presented with modeling an accurate weather radar...Cheers!
