March 13, 201214 yr The mechanics were so happy finally to be at the controls and test out powerful engines instead of running around with spanners, checking tire pressure-picking up adrelanin they forgot about everything even to set the parking brake, they were happy like a child's in the cockpit operating with the thrust levers, they realize that pushing them forwards they became push't in their seats,i just can imagine they confusion when they roll of the taxiway Andy :hey Bill, what just happened? Bill:omg i dont know, but my hands are shaking!? :( But if serious accidents happening, hope they will not get punish so hard,if that will be their fault. IGORS SKAPSTS...EGGW
March 13, 201214 yr Runway 26-L was closed following the incident. At 9:30 a.m., flights were departing, but not arriving, on that runway. <sarcasm> No, really. </sarcasm>Anyone familiar with ATL operations knows that 26L is departing only, and 26R is for arrivals. March 13, 201214 yr Does anyone remember the Delta maddog that burst the right mains after landing at KATL and caught fire not long ago? I had the pleasure of towing that bird to the TOC once MTC put on a new set of wheels on and lemme tell you that bird had EXTENSIVE damage around the mains and wings. But a few months later wouldn't you know, I saw her parking at a gate full of PAX. Some of yall might be amazed by how much serious damage must be done before an aircraft is unsalvageable.
