October 12, 201015 yr Hi GuysI uninstalled both nHancer and my nVidia drivers, then installed the latest of both. Now I can't 'launch' nHancer. If I try, the nHancer logo appears, but then just runs as a background service. It won't open the application to change settings etc.I've tried reverting back to the previous versions, but it's still the same. What could I have done? Thanks Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

October 12, 201015 yr Author Ah thank you.I've been out of circulation for a few months after surgery. I guess I missed that happening.I'll 'Google' it.Cheers Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

He has to re write all the code or something like that.http://forum.avsim.net/topic/291720-how-to-set-aa-in-fs9-and-fsx-for-nvidias-2xxxx-drivers-now-with-working-transparency-aa/
October 12, 201015 yr Sorry. I have the latest NVidia drivers and I found Nick's workaround for NHancer works best for me. The AA looks great, and NVidia Inspector didn't help me to that degree.Stan
October 13, 201015 yr Author Thanks guys.Stan, where might I find Nick's "workaround"? October 13, 201015 yr Phil go here http://www.simforums.com/forums/nhancer-for-25715-and-25721-updated_topic34873.html go down to the second post, DL the GForce SLI profile tool.exe then also DL on of the three profiles that Nick made, I use the first one like he suggests, run the GForce SLI profile tool and import one of his profiles, note this seems to work with all drivers above 257.21 so you don't necessarily have to use that particular driver, Im using the 260 beta right now, its not perfect but its a quick fix for now.

But his profile with the Gforce profile tool still works pretty good for me anyways.
October 15, 201015 yr NHancer still works for me too. I just don't understand why others are saying that it doesn't still work with the latest drivers. After applying Nick's Profile workaround, I still see the effects of my AA being implemented and FSX looks great. Am I imagining the improvement?Stan

If you disable Nick's profile and just use nhancder, you will not see any results.Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

October 16, 201015 yr Agreed! But does Nick's Profile do the same as NVidia Inspector? Which is better?StanThey both change registry values except Nhancer doesn't work with new drivers so for 200+ series drivers then Nicks graphics tuning is best. For older drivers then Nhancer would be the best because it provides more flexibility. I'm not sure that Nicks 200+ changes would even work with older drivers bur I have my doubts. If you want to fool around with new drivers then Nvidia Inspector is the only option. October 16, 201015 yr Moderator Agreed! But does Nick's Profile do the same as NVidia Inspector? Which is better?StanFor the newest drivers, Nick uses nVidia Inspector and provides the settings. For slightly older drivers, use Nicks profiles. For older drivers use nhancer. For example Im using the 260.63 driver with nick's nvidia inspector settings because the 'profiles' are not needed now.Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
October 17, 201015 yr Author Which is the last driver that nHancer will work with please?I'd like to go back to that.Cheers Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
