I have to admit, as much time as I spend reading flight sim forums through the day, I have never heard of them. What do they do, make, or sell?

The 1st scenery that was released was CYYZ,Halifax Stansfield International Airport. It is very nice,DX10 compatible animated jetways,marshlers,de-icer trucks etc. The forementioned airport is the base product, with some smaller GA sceneries.Their are some others in pipeline as well some FSX missions.

A new website should be in place for the Holidays with new products added :( The developper found some of his work on pirate sites and was mighty pi"/!ed ....he even contemplate giving up :(

Good thing the stores I frequent don't simply close their doors when they discover shoplifters.

CYYZ is Toronto Pearson... I think you meant CYHZ.

The developper is alone in this, a passionate and very talented guy !YOU take the enormous amount of time to create something for FSX of the same quality as Simaddons and see your work pirated and THEN you might be in the same state of mind :Shame On You:Support forum is active and well, this situation is only temporary.

Been there done that.I'm not saying it isn't their right to pack it in if they wish, but doing it for that reason leads me to believe that they are not very familiar with selling products in today's world. There are adverse sides to everything and if people simply gave up as a result it would be a pretty sad world indeed.

He always wanted a small community of users. I guess he just didn't think the people interested in buying his work, would ever turn around and pull something like that.

Nice to know now that the situation is only temporary. I always wanted to buy the Halifax scenery.:(

Unfortunately, there will always be people who will rip software off, and although I can certainly understand the developer being annoyed at that, because I've had it happen too, I also know that there will always be people who are prepared to pay for work too.So the way to look at it is pragmatically, in that those who would rip it off were probably never going to buy it, which means in most cases, it's not actually representative of a lost sale - a backhanded and not very welcome compliment if you like - and although that's still annoying, it is at least less annoying to think of it in that way.Al

Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

I've just downloaded and installed their Halifax and Toronto City Centre Airports.. After two flights I have to say it's pretty good: it's definitely not Orbx/FTX class by any means - more like the correct buildings, roads, etc, but created using the regular FSX default building methods: I only flew the Toronto scenery (I live pretty close by) but it's got all that is very characteristic of TO - there's even a couple of long GO-Trains at Union Station; the Gardiner; Exhibition Grounds: City Hall; the hospitals; Ontario Place is very well done. In all it's a huge jump upwards over the bland default scenery. The downside is that one has to purchase Halifax as the base module, CYTZ being an enhancement addon, and I would expect some measure of price resistance if it's not your home town. I would rather pay $35 or $40, say - for a better Toronto, perhaps Pearson would be a $29 enhancement to Toronto, with Buttonville coming in at $25. Pearson - Montreal - Ottawa - would be an ideal regional fit for the Atlantic north-east, which is only now getting some attention from FlyTampa. I love flying the PNW, and even moreso, with the new OrbX releases - almost one every two months. It would be great if we easterners could get that same attention. Maybe this is a start. :(
