October 15, 201015 yr I installed the wonderful KBOS V2 scenery and worked beautifully along with AES.I recently installed V3 after but it didn't work too well so i switched back to V2.After switching back this is the issue I have.My airplane works fine as it is on the tarmac. Even arriving aircraft work fine. The AI that load on start up are below the tarmac.Would be great if someone could help me out. Thanks!

October 15, 201015 yr Author Hey Joe,Thanks for replying.I just tried it but din't help.Thank you though.
October 15, 201015 yr I recently installed V3 after but it didn't work too well so i switched back to V2.I believe it's a real pity to switch back from a paid scenery to a freeware one. Don't give up your 24 euro, mate! What exactly was your problem with v3? Plus: did you try the FlyTampa forums? They usually have a quick support for customers. And as far as I can guess based on a screen, it looks like either AFCAD (mentioned already) or mesh problem. Anyway try at FlyTampa forums and give another chance to v3 - it's great!
October 15, 201015 yr I would not edit with it any more but use AFCD221 to see what scenery layers exist. open each layer and choose file, properties, to get the path of each layer. Besides the stock (default layer) it will show you where the varios layers are. There are two kinds of layers that can show:The main one shows runways, taxiways, and parking, etc. Elevation is also included for those items.Another type may just show a blank field except for the airport center. Occasionally it might show a pseudo underlying runway to get around some navaid changes or specific AI operations. You generally only want one of the main style besides the stock layer. Pick the one that correlates with your add-on installation folder and then rename the .bgl extension of the one that doesn't seem to fit.Restart FS and let it reindex the scenery.Be aware that some AI traffic packages also install afcads that may not match your add-on scenery. Your add-on scenery afcad should take priority unless you have installed one to specifically modify that version of your add-on scenery.
October 15, 201015 yr I would be very curious to know as well what the problem was with payware v3. Black boxes perhaps?:( In the mean time, look for AF2_KBOS_flytampa_dummy.bgl and delete it. It is used in v3 to lower the airport to sea level to avoid the plateau effect. If you go back to v2 and don't remove that file, AI will still be at sea level and appear sunken in the scenery.
