German Airports?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know whether the German Airports series has been patched for FS2004?ThanksRicardo

Ricardo, the update for German Airports 1-3 was released TODAY!You can download from Aerosoft in germany here:http://www.aerosoft.de/shop-de_s/donwloads_patches.htmlGerman Airports 4 works without an update.Make sure you install the original airports first into your FS2004, then run the update. The updates are only for making the sceneries compatible with FS2004.On Aerosoft's webpage they state, that an all new gmax-Version of the german airports will be released this october (not for free i asume).Cheers,Michael (EDDL)

Man, that's terrific news. German airports was one of my favorite add-ons. I'm glad they're keeping up the work.ricardo

If I have the "selection" (DC, DM, DL, LP & LOWI) how can I patch these? does anybody know?

Guess you install them and then run the patch and hope.Don't know if it works, but it IS smart enough to see several CDs installed during a single run.

Single airports seem not to work for me. Also only CD's with version number 2.xx are supported. Toby

so..... wait.. I have GA 2 and 3 edition 2000 and 2002updates, and I have GA1 Edition 2002... so that's mean that I can update only GA1 Edition2002? :-( Jacek

Yep, or pay the 20.- Euros each to have the CDs replaced eventually. Even the AI update will be charged for, which pretty much terminates my business relation with Aerosoft.

I also think this update practice is a shame, they even charge for the newly released GAP4 but with the lack of alternatives ... Toby

I am also very unhappy with Aerosoft's update policy. About half a year ago I bought German Airports 1-4 and VFR Germany 1 in a short span of time, cost me 200 EUR. And now I shall pay about 70 EUR again for the FS2004 update? Every other FS2002 addon that I bought features a free FS2004 update (except one plane that was originally made for FS2000 and can't be updated). I definitely won't buy from Aerosoft again. I'll see if GAP 1-4 + update work in an acceptable way with FS2004, and that's it.VOlker :]

MichaelI've been to both the German www.aerosoft.de and English www.aerosoft.com sites and could not find the update for FS2004. A lot of reference to FS2000 and FS2002 but none to FS2004. Could you please explain where it is ...?I'm also shocked to see what Aerosoft wants for their updates. I'm not against the principle of an update fee, but this is too much!!Anyway - we buy, we play, we buy, we play ... and so we actively support the greed of others!T

Hi,i dont understand whats the problem here.I have the German Airports 1-4, installed them into FS2004, applied the FREE update for GA 1-3, and all works as it should (except, as stated, the AI).For GA 4 there is no update needed, it works in FS2004.What you have to pay for, are the upcoming new, upgraded Versions of the GA's. But for me there is no need to buy them again, if you already have GA 1-4.I dont see a problem here for previous owners of the GA series, they are updated for free to make them work in FS2004!Cheers,Michael

Hi, only if you have the 2.0 Version of the CDs, the 1.0 Versions won

MichaelWhere did you get the FREE update for GA 1-3 ..?I go to www.aerosoft.com... then to SUPPORT... then DOWNLOADS/PATCHES... then German Airports SeriesDo not see anything about an update for GA 1-3 for FS2004Oh well!
