"Microsoft Flight" is a new PC game from Microsoft Game Studios.

So I doubt it will run on an ipad.Plus, where did you hear it would be released on the 19th?

It will not likely appear on any other platforms/devices .. but, your argument is not the reason why.  You are suggesting that, just because in the past it didn't show on other platforms/devices that it will never do so.   Your point about the website stating that its a PC game is a much better argument.

CliffYou're not thinking of X Plane 10 by any chance rather the Microsoft Flight? X-Plane has versions that are supposed to work on the ipad and I believe version 10 is getting close to release.

I believe X-Plane 10 will be released in December, close to Christmas.

I had a laugh when I saw this topic.There are a couple of reasons I don't think you will see MS releasing a FS for the ipad, one reason being that Apple is in direct competition with Microsoft but also I highly doubt they could refine it enough to have it run on such low specs. I am also interested where you heard the 19th being associated with its release?

I'm not stupid; I know what forums are.

If you can get it to do that Bootcamp thing to emulate a PC i.e like normal Macs can do, then I daresay you probably could get Flight going on an iPad, but whether it would run at an acceptable speed is another matter (unlikely I would have thought), since it is basically a glorified web browser with a touch screen rather than a hot gaming machine.Al
