November 21, 201015 yr Hello I have Very good pc I7 930 @ 2.8 Ghz GTX 465 and 6GB RAM. I ahev done many flight and I got this error very often. "Your computer has run out of available memory" can you help me? Sometimes this can also be caused by a scenery add-on, even if you are flying in an area far away from the area the scenery add-on covers. When you get this type of error you need to ask these questions:1. Is the error new? - If the error is, then it is probably add-on related or a change you've made to your system -If the error isn't, then some third party application (perhaps completely unrelated to Flight sim) is the cause.2. If the error is new, what have I installed? -Think backwards. Does it only happen with an add-on aircraft? Does it happen with any aircraft? Does it only happen in some parts of the Flight sim world?I see you're making a lot of posts with many questions, so it may be a good idea for you to look at every tip you can find. I don't fly FS9 with the 3 Gig switch. I run it on Vista 64 and I've only seen this error after an install of bad scenery, where a bgl was corrupted. I also saw this error once or twice on my old system, in that instance I had a flaky hard drive.I hope this helps. Regards,John
November 21, 201015 yr With your configuration and addons (none), you should never run out of memory (2 GB used on 32 bit applications MSFS9.1 and FSX).Did you ever run out of memory on your old PC / OS? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

November 21, 201015 yr Some months ago I had run out problems cause I installed UT Europe and USA plus GE pro with MyWorld 2005 landclass. I don't why this kind of problem but when I uninstalled MyWorld landclass I had no more problems. In effect, it is quite strange you have out of memory problems with only one add-on installed. I cannot understand. Capt. RICCARDO RIGHETTIProud customer of the PMDG 737NGX and PMDG 777X (wating for next... PMDG 747 v2 - Queen of Skies) --- Follow me on my Website and Flickr
November 21, 201015 yr "Yes I did "Yes, I know. But it was not "caused", IMO by the information you have given, by MSFS.I will ask again:Did you ever run out of memory on your old PC / OS using MSFS? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

I cannot understand. If you install Landclass, you must install it in a certain way or your computer can run out of memory "hunting" for textures. It is important that the location where it is installed contains only a scenery folder, and no texture folder. I keep all my files created with Landclass Assistant in a landclass add-on folder and within, it only has a scenery folder and within that, all the bgls.I hope this helps--I have a fair bit of experience with landclass (I wrote the program, Landclass Assistant).Regards,John
