November 25, 201015 yr Hey guys;Looking for some input from computer-smart guys on this utility I found online: http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.phpI backed up my original fsx.exe and ran this utiliy on the executable and everything works fine. Wondering if this might be a solution to "out of memory" and skeleton issues people have been having?I hadn't been having them, but don't want to! Running Windows7 and FSX/AccelHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Matt Smith MSFS 2024

November 25, 201015 yr Commercial Member Matt-I think all of us on the development team are on 64bit installs- and are running this little update... Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
November 25, 201015 yr The versions of FSX.exe that come with SP2 and Acceleration are already "4GB aware" I believe. I expect no harm will be done running the patch utility on them, just don't expect to see any difference afterwards!Andy Lawton
November 26, 201015 yr Commercial Member Andy's right - FSX SP2 or Acceleration is already large address aware. I think RSR may be thinking of something else.If you're getting the skeleton stuff, put HIGHMEMFIX=1 in your FSX.cfg [GRAPHICS] section. That was the presumed fix for this, found by ******* Altuve earlier this year. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

I'm intrigued by this new "Microsoft Flight" coming out, but if it can't run your 744X I probably won't get it :)Thanks for your input gents - Matt Smith MSFS 2024
