Hi I have been waiting patiently since 2008 for the Eaglesoft Cirrus SR22 " Perspective " version. All seems to have gone quiet recently. Does anyone have any idea whats going on ? I was starting to think a release in July or maybe October at the latest was coming but now I think we wont have it for xmas even. Any news?Cheers

The Cirrus SR22 Turbo "Perspective" Version is still in the avionics shop.It will not be available in 2010. We'll keep everyone posted as we near completion and begin beta testing.:(

Ronthanks for the reply. I was just worried the project might have been shelved. I appreciate the massive effort you guys put into such an undertaking and would rather wiat and have a good product than a rushed poor one. lucky that my franchise owner is still using me as a slave and I wont be able to afford to start to fly the real perspective till next year june / july time at least! I really am looking forward to getting this add on for fsx I cant think of a better training tool than perspective cirrus sr22 and I hope you guys " keep it real.."thanks

Ron, any updates????? ie nearly complete or way off? with the popularity of real world training now taking place on the perspective SR22 I cant believe nobody has yet cashed in on this obvious money spinner. flight schools, student pilots, PPL's who want to keep skills up to date... the list goes on. The ability to use the instruments as in the real aircraft is imperative in this modern glass world. As Avidyne has long since been dropped by Cirrus I would have thought developers would be rushing to get a Perspective version out ASAP !As of right now, all I can see that works is getting the new Flight1 G1000 sim ( 250.00 USD ) and running it on a seperate networked PC for the gauges and using the avidyne version from eaglesoft. not ideal, but its all thats out there so far. I remember way back in 2008 when the screenshots were released of the perspective SR22 from eaglesoft many thought it was just round the corner, well here we are in 2011 and my guess is it will be 2012 before we see the final product. Better hurry as the world is ending then and i'd like to use it more than a few times!
