Looks like Eaglesoft has been beaten to it. After nearly 4 years of solid PATIENTLY waiting for the " imminent " release of the most obviously lucrative training add-on for REAL pilots that any company could dream of I bet this Eaglesoft SR22 Perspective version will now never be released. The Eaglesoft website forums are dead. There has been no update since the screenshots were released in 2008 ( !! ) and those of us doing real world training who need this add-on desperatly to save thousands of dollars have been left in the lurch by Eaglesoft. It is now almost 2012 and the world will be ending soon. At least one company has made the effort and will now be getting my money and the money of many others in my flying club. We will ALL be transfering over to X-Plane due to the awesome realease : http://www.flythissim.com/FTS1000_Cirrus.aspx To be honest I and others I know whould have HAPPILY paid 500 USD ++ for the eaglesoft release if it had been accurate and as good as the other SR22 versions they have done. This is less than 1 HOUR of realtime training where I live and now I can get everything I have been so patiently waiting for for 79.99 . ITs a shame because I actually dont like x-plane nearly as much as FSX. But in the end I play this game for fun and mostly for trainging real flying procedures. If Eaglesoft can actually be bothered to release this product they promised in 2008 I will still be the FIRST to buy it but until then its X=plane all the way. peace

First thanks for your interest in our current and pending products. Second. congratulations to the team who buit the products you mention.We can assure you that when ours is completed it will be for FS, not X-Plane and it will be for the entertainment market and not for the training market. Again we congratulate that team for offering much for such a low pricepoint.

I too am waiting for a long the Eaglesoft Cirrus Perspective, four years seem to me a lot. It's true that the program takes a long time for an avionics, especially when it's accurate. But it would also be encouraged by the developers to give some news about it. Also the external model is done.However I'm interested in that development continues, and from what I understand is like that, correct?Two quick questions:1) Eaglesoft avionics will also include the Synthetic Vision?2) will you ensure compatibility with the Mindstar G1000 (I do not know if this one has Synthetic Vision)?Many thanks

Synthetic vision isn't something that's possible in FS.

I thought so........ anyway synthetic vision is not a priority for me, all I need is Cirrus it to be released, so I can use it with Mindstar G1000.
