December 5, 201015 yr Hi,I am just about to start a 777 course and have been doing a bit of pre-course study. Does the 737 NG family have the same electronic checlist system that the 777 uses??? Just wondering if I need to invest in a QRH for the NGX.David David Andrews
December 5, 201015 yr Pretty sure it doesn't....But what do I know, I'm on the dark side. Even if it did, investing in an NG QRH for your 777 course would most likely have you fail your 777 sim, or dead..Rgds Rgds - Sam Harridann

Neither the 747, 757 767 aren't using them. I have only seen electronic checklists in the 777 and higher series. :( Steven Albi
December 5, 201015 yr Author Many thanks I figured that was the case as believe the NG 737 still retains a common type rating series with the 737-400 series. For interested parties I shall be putting any purchase off until after I have finished my course.David David Andrews
December 5, 201015 yr The 777 and the 737 are of course different in many ways and the QRH will undoubtedly not much have in common, but oddly enough, take a look at this 'check ride guide', which is the same product they offer under both the 737 NG and the 777 pages, and actually uses a 300 series 737 as the demo aircraft. Some stuff doesn't change whatever 700 number is painted on the side of the thing LOLAl Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
December 5, 201015 yr Correct me if I am wrong, but some airlines does use EFB on the 737? Not the built-in but a handheld EFB with checklist, takeoff calucation and such. :) Regards, Emil E. Nielsen
December 5, 201015 yr Lufthansa certainly did on the 500 Series, in fact I think they were one of the first to do so.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
December 6, 201015 yr Commercial Member Correct me if I am wrong, but some airlines does use EFB on the 737? Not the built-in but a handheld EFB with checklist, takeoff calucation and such. :)Some do, but obviously we're not gonna be modelling handheld EFBs.
