December 6, 201015 yr Hi,I wonder if anyone experienced jagged textures with ATI Cards and photoreal repaint. How did you fix it? In these days I did a repaint of Posky 777ER with a Singapore Airlines livery. Well, when I applied those by hand textures I had not problems: all textures were crisp and not jagged, with any view angle and zoom distance. But, when I apply photoreal textures to the model (which are about 90% of repaints available on the web) I often suffer of jagged textures, shimmering and flickering problem. It seems like if I don't have AA on, but for texture this filter does not apply. In other forums I read that nVidia users have not this problem, it is more frequent for ATI users, someone has fixed it, someone (like me) not. The real problem is that I cannot use photoreal textures cause I suffer lots of graphics problems.I tried to convert those texture into DXT3 with Mipmap, but this leads somtimes to bluerries and I cannot perform this action.Any help?@ nVidia users: do you have this problem?@ ATI users: how did you fix it? If you were able to fix...I need your help pls. Thanks.Bye. Capt. RICCARDO RIGHETTIProud customer of the PMDG 737NGX and PMDG 777X (wating for next... December 7, 201015 yr Commercial Member I too run an ATI card, (Oooops I mean AMD), a 5870, and I also have never had an issue. But I have never applied any of the multi tweaks out there either. I would have put this post in the hardware forum as you probably will get a better response. Do you use photoreal textures? No problem like this:http://img574.images...77nomipmap.jpg/http://img577.images...7nomipmap2.jpg/http://img253.images...7nomipmap3.jpg/http://img607.images...pcloseview.jpg/Look at the coloured textures how distorted are. Look at the dashed lines on the wing, it must be a straight line not dashed. That livery is a photoreal one and I think to have a major problem with them.Bye. Capt. December 7, 201015 yr I recently downloaded and installed the latest ATI drivers and found myself with jagged lines too. After experiencing various set-ups with my CCC and FS9 display options, I finally selected all AA options on the CCC and on FS9, my straight lines are straight again, no more zig zag...Good luck.

Cause AA does not affet them, anti-aliasing affects only 3D object edges, not 2D images... Capt. RICCARDO RIGHETTIProud customer of the PMDG 737NGX and PMDG 777X (wating for next...
