Quoted fresh from an email from PMDG regarding the manuals.

Captain! As we prepare the highly anticipated PMDG 737-NGX for beta testing, I wanted to take a moment to tell you that the wait is nearly over! In anticipation of the upcoming release, we have just made the PMDG 737-NGX Flight Manuals for sale and during the coming weeks we will be announcing the final layout of the NGX Series of products. (Want to get a set of NGX manuals for Christmas? Use the "forward" link at the bottom of this email to provide a great gift idea to that special Santa, and make certain they place the order by 17DEC10 in order to take delivery in time for Christmas!)The PMDG 737-NGX Series is the first in a line of products that set a new direction for PMDG in which successive products will add features to entire product lines, bringing more features and greater interoperability. The PMDG 737-NGX is wrapping up initial testing, and we anticipate putting the simulation into beta testing very shortly.Stay tuned to your email, our customer support forum and our new PMDG Facebook page for information and details! On behalf of the PMDG Development Team, Thank you for supporting our products!Sincerely,Captain Robert S. Randazzo PMDG Simulations, LLC.

DARN YOU!!! You beat me too it! LOL I literally hit submit as I got the email that you posted thisTaylor OldhamEDIT:Anyone notice the "rope" (I don't know what its called) but I know they use it for "testing" a plane in real life. I may be wrong but I think they use it for airspeed but I could be wrong

Love the drouge, and i notice the first pax window is ported red as well, typical of boeing test aircraft. Correct me if I am wrong, but usually a independent test pitot system is used there.

Something tells me that when they post the "We're in Beta" announcement thread, the pictures/videos/etc will finally cause one of our fellow simmers to die of anticipation.PMDG should be ashamed. :(

Imagine that in the newspaper, "27 year old dies, over pixels on screen!"

Most ironic part of this is that I decided to upload a video to youtube and while I was doing the tags I was trying to figure out a way to get more views. So I decided to put in "PMDG NGX" in and at that moment, I get an email from "PMDG simulations" and what do you know... HahahaTaylor Oldham

Odd, because I've ordered PMDG products in the past, and including the NGX manuals. And I've yet to see that e-mail.

I'm pretty sure the Team will be visiting family and taking a Holiday Break from the PC during Christmas Season. :PThey sure deserve it.

now that is sods law! Just yesterday evening I purchased PMDG's 747-400 due to the lack of updates on the NGX, but now all of this! You have an extremely clever marketing strategy PMDG :(
