December 14, 201015 yr Commercial Member I have some pretty strange hours - I live in Phoenix, AZ USA (southwestern part of the country) but I'm often up at really late hours - not unusual for me to be sitting here at midnight-3AM or something answering support tickets hehe...I used to live up in Deer Valley, worked at one of the flight schools at DVT, and was there until 0330 every day. Sounds like my old schedule... Kyle Rodgers
December 15, 201015 yr I'm assuming they set the price in dollars first and then convert. So, another $80 or so, which I believe is now 14 Euros... :(HAHAHA! Next week it'll be 8 Euros! Buddy Morgan Specs removed by Admin. See AVSIM Signature policy in Hangar Chat

December 15, 201015 yr DARN YOU!!! You beat me too it! LOL I literally hit submit as I got the email that you posted thisTaylor OldhamEDIT:Anyone notice the "rope" (I don't know what its called) but I know they use it for "testing" a plane in real life. I may be wrong but I think they use it for airspeed but I could be wrong
December 15, 201015 yr Actually the "rope" is a trailing cone and is the Flight Test static source for the Flight test Pitot/static system. There is a tube installed ahead of the cone with multiple holes around it to determine the static air pressure. It provides a clear air static source away from the aircraft disturbances. This allows the main system to be calibrated.Tom

December 16, 201015 yr Commercial Member Sweet, you drive by there going to Flagstaff on I-17...Yeah, I used to call it the last real civilization on I-17 until you hit Flagstaff (all the cities between are off of the interstate a bit).I lived right on the corner of I-17 and 101. Right across from the hospital. Kyle Rodgers

December 16, 201015 yr We will continue to refine this list and add to it as we are able.We will not become one of those organizations that emails you every day with something you already knew. (I promise!)But we will throw surprises out by email now and then...Cpt. Randdazzo,I was very pleased to see an email come from PMDG. I think it is great that you are actively using this option now for communicating and updating your customers. I want to know what PMDG is doing all the time. I was surprised by the release of the J41 and found out about it from another forum. I would much rather find out news directly from PMDG.Bob Robert Yunque
