Although it wasn't originally part of the "plan," I suggested the "FreeRadio version" as yet another option, so it would allow folks to fully configure their own avionics however they wished.

You are most welcome, Bert!Life is full of compromises, and having taken a fellow developer's suggestion and expanded on it, I think I've found a workable solution...I added the condition for time of day to the 3d lights so they're only active at night. Period.I also modified my "Panel Visible" script so that during the "not night" period (i.e., dawn, day, dusk) time of day -or- when the 2d panel is active, the default landing/taxi lights are active.At night, even with less than 1/4 mile visibility, the 3d lights are just fine, completely aside from the real world safety advice to NOT have landing or taxi lights on under such conditions! :(
