Looking for Any Allegheny Commuter aircraft.

Featured Replies

:( Hello Everyone!!! I'm in search of FS9 aircraft in the mid 80's ( the BIG A) Allegheny Commuter livery. (Sd-330, SD-360, F-27/FH-227 ,Nord 262 ,Dash-7) I've found a Dash-6 twin otter but not really anything else.....Any suggestions??? Also if anyone knows of a good 737-300 in the red/rust/brown 80's livery of usAir I could use a good tip!! Thanks for any help you can offer!!!gAbe :-)

It's not a -300, but PMDG has one on their liveries page for the -600 or -700. Sorry, I don't know of any repaints other than that one.Ahhhhhh, "Agony" Airlines! Now youre taking me back. I used to fly between Hartford/Bradley and Buffalo to go skiing when I was dating a girl from Dyouville College up there . . .:(

The Allegheny you work for is not the Allegheny I was hired at in 1979. 31 plus years later, 3 mergers, 2 bankruptcies, two name changes , one 1200 mile relocation. Somedays it's still Agony Air!

Sometimes I like to back my US Airways plane away from the gate and park it on the Tarmac in KCLT for 4 hours. As real as it gets right?

So long as you remain seated at your compurter the entire time, and (1) you don't eat anything, (2) you don't drink anything, and (3) you don't get up and go to the bathroom . . .!

I use Flight Deck Companion. I turn off flight attendant voices to simulate them hanging out in the front or back of the plane instead of assisting passengers. I also created a profile for the captain to come on every hour and say " folks air traffic control has issued a ground stop due to weather in the north east. We expect to be released shortly" then I look at numerous weather sites on my smart phone and scratch my head asking myself why the ground stop due to weather in the north east when the closest weather is out in Montana. Then I blame ASE for erroneous weather updates that were given to the FAA. All while implementing Chuck B's suggestions. OPA is going to post this in his next "Tips and Tricks" to improve realism in FS. I turned down all the AI us airways flights to Pittsburgh in order to simulate going from a hub to a focus city. Opa please don't take that offensively. Your contributions in this hobby are appreciated.

Sorry for the thread drift. I'm not sure if this site will help but it does have a lot of classic ai. http://www.calclassic.com/ There was a post about my traffic being released as freewarevnow. I believe that you can turn back time in my traffic that will show airlines and aircraft for that era. That might be an option too. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66855-mytraffic-2006-dumped-to-free-download/

Getting back to the original question:There's an Allegheny Commuter Dash7 here at AvSim; dash7v1ac.zip. I'ts for FS2002, but I'm sure it will work on FS2004.Regards,JerryH
