February 10, 201115 yr Author It's an educated guess. It usually starts around that time. I have the day confirmed but not the time.I will update the site once I have the official start time.ThanksAs I remember it, it's usually in the 1600-1800 UTC range... Splitting the difference and setting the countdown for 1700 probably a safe bet in the meantime... Exactly what I would do.. :( Declared weather: FSX: ASN / FS9: ASE
February 10, 201115 yr Leon has been added to the group.I still see Leon as a member of the group "members" not "RTW Race Team" . Is this correct ? TEAM AVSIM "Fly Anything" Member BAW 1193
February 11, 201115 yr I would Buzz but ... me wings are clipped. :( Motherboard is indicating cpu overtemp(for both cpu sockets). It was an intermittent problem that began last fall. A replacement battery and clearing the CMOS seemed to solve the problem. But "intermittent" became "persistent" this week; my board should be headed to Louisville on a FEDEX truck "even as we speak".And with Intel's brilliant RMA policy, it will likely be two weeks before I am up and running again, assuming they send a good replacement. :( :( B) Interesting how "diverse" the RMA policies these computer companies have... called Dell yesterday about a problem I am having with my 2408WFP and in a few minutes the rep said, "we'll have you a replacement in 2 - 3 business days." Guess who I'll continue to do business with as my monitor supplier, and who I will avoid at all costs as my motherboard supplier.Rob how is the new motherboard coming along? Was thinking about this the other day, espcially when INTEL had bad press due to the circiutry problem with its Intel chips. Hope your board wasn't part of that.

Hope your board wasn't part of that. Thanks for asking Travis,Got the a replacement board (it's a D5400XS... not the new P67s on recall). Same problem... (CPU LED overtemp at idle in Windows) Intel suggested I do a complete reinstall. I started on that today... didn't like the temps i was seeing with a new thermal paste I tried. So...Pulled both cpu's and and R&R'd with MX-2. Since it is late, I decided to run memtest+ overnight. I'll start a clean XP x64 install Friday if memtest detects no errors.Orbx - Australia DVD arrived in the post today (10 days from Down Under) http://www.flightsimstore.com/product_info.php?products_id=973 something to look forward to... getting that installed
