Hello.I personnaly have not found any troubles getting everything setup though I'm using the X52 Pro, but as far as I know differences are quite simple between both hardware, I'm using the SST which I found to be working nicely and used it to setup some leyshortcuts in the PMDG mainly Authothrust and AP disconnect as well as TOGA for the 747. I don't know but except running everythign as admin, install, as well as software and FSX, if you've not tried.

Hi Adrian!Well I almost hesitate to say so in this thread, but just for the record my X52 Pro is running on W7 Ult 64-bit and everything (SST included) seems hunky dory. (Sorry!) :( I generally keep the software fairly up to date (I think I last updated the stick and SST software a few weeks ago).I can only recall one oddity, which was that I couldn't adjust the LEDs' brightness and colours using the W7 control panel — I had to go via the Start Menu and the Saitek stuff and *then* take the option to look at the Properties. That apart, though, I've not had any issues, and the lettering on the throttle display looks OK (but I only use it to confirm that the correct profile has been loaded).Cheers,Brian

UPDATE. Last night i uninstalled and removed everthing relevent to Saitek/SST including unpluging X52 from rear USB port. Then installed latest drivers and plugged X52 back in 'ONLY WHEN PROMPTED BY DRIVER INSTALL SOFTWARE' then installed SST software. Stayed up late, ran many short flights and maneuvers with absolutely no issues and again a few more this morning. Looks like i may have fixed my problem.

Well the display is working but I do believe there is something wrong once under FS as there is no reaction even to the profile change through the stick, it reacts but do not appears on screen, I guess the FSX modules might be running but is not really working that could explain that.

Hi Leonard!The PMDG 744 works fine for me with the X52 Pro and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.An obvious question, perhaps, but have you checked out the Saitek common fixes forum?(This is the PMDG forum, to be fair). :( Cheers,Brian

With respect, if you were talking about any other product i would agree. However the top of this thread outlines the problems i was in and whether they were as a result of my mistakes or lack of knowledge or not, if it were not for this forum and others outside of Satek's support forum i would still be scratching my head. The Saitek forum is still not accepting any new registrations so if you are not an existing member and want to post your problem, you are SOL. I also emailed there support for assistance and after two days all i got was a short reply with apologies and a copy of the SST user guide. There are a lot of very smart people on this forum who it appears have been using the X52 or X52pro for a long time and based on my experience i know where i am going if i get any more problems with my X52. Please do not missunderstand me, i think this is a great stick and the software is darn good when you get it to work (I still havent counted out FSUIPC yet though).

Hi guys Yes I have been on the saitek common fixes forum and found what I was looking for and also e mailed there support for assistance still waiting for a reply .I think my stick is now working ok after reinstalling the drivers and dllCheers Leonard
