February 27, 201115 yr I don't know where else to turn but here. I purchased the Aerosoft Twin Otter X and installed. Everything in the aircraft folders seem to be there and O.K. But, all I have is the VC and I can not get any 2D view. I have other twin otter X add-ons from other authors and they all work fine. The importance of this is that I also purchased the mission pack for this aircraft and although I can use the other add-ons instead but, obviously, no reward can be obtained for completing the mission. No big deal but if anyone has any ideas what is going on, I would appreciate it. SimMarket offers no support and I was unable to get any support from the Aerosoft site. Thank you. BobK
February 27, 201115 yr You've my answer to your post over here: http://www.simforums.com/forums/aerosoft-twin-otter-xno-2d-panel_topic38400.html:(
February 27, 201115 yr Hi Bob - as the other guys have said the Twotter does not have a 2D panel. I have this model which despite no 2d panel is great fun to fly. However, the various panels can be viewed in 2D by cycling 'A' as I'm sure you are aware. I call up the AP and the GPS from the drop down menu - Views/Instruments/GPS or AP. The main difficulty is being able to see and set the heading and course. I use the '+' and '-' keys to get close to it for this alternatively, TrackIR allows you to move around the cockpit and look closely at various controls and indications at will.I find the fact that the aircraft flies relatively slowly does give more time for this slightly cumbersome interface to be managed. If you have not already discovered it, try flying it into Lukla, Nepal (VNLK) if you want a challenge.Roger

BobK http://forum.avsim.n..._1#entry1847158This kind of stuff adds a lot to the cockpit management of the twotter. The hot spots give me the default GPS/WW AP, the radio stack, and the installed Maule AP that I need for approaches.Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
