FS Genesis

Well, just remember the old, old saying -- "Good things are worth waiting for!" When you boot up a clean, fast and amazingly enhanced FS9 and it looks like a brand new sim, you will be glad. Of course, you may also be 99 years old! :( Don't worry, it won't take that long, though it may feel like it at times...
Luckily I still have 75 years to go until then :)

One other thing I'd recommend for a much more realistic feel is to look at your visibilty settings. FSUIPC is a wizard for this, something I really only discovered recently and I'm kicking myself that it took so long. In real life, even on a gin clear day you can't actually see that far but by default FS9 gives you visibilty that stretches to the end of the planet and it looks rubbish. Spend some time on getting your weather, visibilty and horizon looking good and you'll notice a word of difference.

Can you say it more specific? I'm curious as I've never touch anything about the visibility in Fs9 before, even with my FSUIPC.

BenThis was something I've read in more than one place, and to that end last night whilst reinstalling all of my stuff, purchased the full version of FSUIPC for the first time! I have yet to play around with it but I have heard from various people that their weather/sky takes on a whole new dimension of realism once you have the full version of FSUIPC.Do you tweak settings in FSUIPC or in FS itself?

Gus your settings are virtually bang on with mine. I'll have a look at my setup (I'm away at the moment so can't get to my gaming rig) and post the settings up when I get back.

Would also recommend FSGenesis. I too got a lifetime 'Galaxy Express' membership and this gives lifetime free downloads or free DVDs (free shipping too to any part of the world). I don't know about FSGlobal, but Justin's support service at FSGenesis is second to none too.Martin

Gus - is there any chance you could repost these one or two screenshots at a time so old guys like me could read them? :( I find the documentation with FSUIPC not very helpful and would love to get some ideas how to get maximum benefit from what it has to offer but couldn't really read the figures in your postIan

YES, PLS. Would love to know what all your settings are but can't make them out. Thanks
