Alain,Anyone who says that FSX does not take advantage of more than 4 cores has never seen that video.Unfortunately, no more updates have been issues after SP2. So we will never see FSX take advantage of 256 cores.More cores = better terrain & AG rendering. Maybe next year we will see 8 cores.

I know, I'm just saying that if MS get their act together this time working on Flight (from the old engine) we may see more core been use in Flight and a patch (SP3) for FSX.But again if they want peoples to play online they will keep all the good stuff (enhancement) in Flight online....that's where the money is.......
@alain I am a little confused about your latest FSMark11 results (80+fps). I believe you posted around 50 fps in the pre-final FSXMark11 runs a few days ago. What has changed? Even the 50+ fps results were amazing but certainly attainable. I ran the FSXMark11 runs on a more sedate 980X (4.0GHz, mem @ 1600Mhz) today and got just about 40+ fps average.ThanksDave
Was it a vanilla FSX installation? If not, there could be other variables... Orbx scenery? UTX with road traffic? REX/ASX/FEX clouds? AI scenery packs? Also external video card settings, nhancer, inspector etc?
