Here is what I would do. These are links to the site you referenced above. This is a total of AUD$806.00. CPUI would do the i5 2500k over the i7 2600k as FSX does not take advantage of the hyper threading of the i7 and unless you are doing other high end gaming you can use the savings elsewhere.CaseNo need to spend big money on a case unless you are really into looks. The Antec 300 is a great mid tower case that has plenty of room for expansion and there is room for 3 more 120mm fans inside the case on top of the 140mm and 120mm fans that it comes with and if you want looks then buy a couple of LED 120mm case fans and install them(my blue ones look pretty neat).MoboMobo is fine but the Micro-ATX from factor is a little cramped you may want to consider the ATX form factor instead but no change here.PSUPSU is a PSU you just really want something 600W or greater and I know the Antec PSU's are good quality. but so are the CoolerMasters.CPU CoolerCPU Cooler, you need a good one if OCing and this is one of the best on the market.RAMRAM I have a preference for Corsair, I've used their RAM in 5 previous builds and no problems EVER! Also I've read that some people have had problems with RAM @1.65V with the LGA1155 architecture so going with 1.5V RAM might be a better choice. (I'm not an expert so I don't know if the claims are true or if there were some stupid users out there but better safe than sorry)And with the savings you could get....GPUA nice Graphics Card. For a grand total of AUD$1082This is just my $0.02(or $0.0189286AUD)

Hmm, I am just interested in how the PSU is, need a second opinion and the compatability with the graphics card, it is still in production today so I would think it would work.

Sorry couldn't honestly say I've never used any OCZ products. But I'm always suspicious, for no real reason, when a product is named after an endorsee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatal1ty). I always feel I'm paying more for the name than the product.Michael

It looks like a great system you will certainly be happy with it, and yes your GPU is a nVidia 9800GT. My last bit of advice would be to save a little money and get yourself a nice GPU for Christmas or what ever gift giving holiday you might celebrate. On a side note, I notice from your profile you're a cricket fan, were you surprised that there wasn't a riot after the India/Pakistan match last week, or worse a WAR!ohmy.gif

Yes, very. Though, more surprised that the Pakistanis didn't bet on how many runs India would make, or how many catches Kamran Akmal would drop. I went to the Australia v Pakistan match in Sydney (flew up for the day on Virgin Blue 737-8FE) and was just so surprised for Hussey & Siddle to put on such a big partnership and then us win. Very Suspicious.Raised%20Eyebrow.gif And yes, I will eventually upgrade GPU, where is Ethan, I need his opinion (just need two opinions).

Hi Andrew. Here's my advice:Ram: You chose 6GB kit. The 1155 platform is a dual channel platform. You shouldn't go with 6GB because that is for the triple channel platform. (1366) You should buy either 4 or 8 GB for the 1155 socket. Also as stated above, 1.65 volts is not recommended for this platform. Most people report no issues using this voltage, but the max recommended is 1.5. Here is my recommendation: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=186_912&products_id=16929For memory, I almost always get G.Skill. They are very reliable, friendly, and have a lifetime warranty. Any RipJawsX (note the X at the end) is designed specifically for the P67 boards. The set quoted above is an 8GB set. They make the same kind of memory (RipJawsX) in a 4GB kit as well.

Anything more than 4GB for FSX or FS2004 is a waste, because, even if they run on 64-bits windows, they will be running in 32-bits mode, because Flight Simulator is a 32-bits application.Your best bet is a good graphics card, a fast processor (quad core i7) and if you can afford it an SSD (Solid State Drive)... Also make sure your RAM is fast... and again, Anything more than 4GB will help you to run 64-bits windows apps, but not FSX.Hope this helps.Cheers,BW

Corsair also makes good ram as well, FYI. Just look for a voltage of 1.5 or less, and a low Cas Latency (CL7 or CL8).

I agree on the case mentioned above. The Antec 300 is a good case. If you're not too concerned about the extra quid, then the HAF is a really nice case though. Overall, make sure you have really good internal cooling from the case fans. You may want to add or change the configuration (intake/exhaust) of the fans to make the cooling better.PSU: I have heard bad things about OCZ PSUs. Corsair and Sesonic make the best PSUs. Here is a great seasonic PSU that is the same price as the OCZ that you were looking at. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_972&products_id=13567
