November 19, 200322 yr Does AITM work with COF? If it does how do you get it to work. It keeps looking for airport.txt and also getting info from my FS2002 sim.

April 21, 200422 yr As Tom indicated, download the latest version and install it over the older version. It will then have a menu choice for the flight simulator you want to modify.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
April 21, 200422 yr AITM 2.0 is an alpha version and is not 100 pct stable as far as I can tell, though still very useful. I know that I openned a traffic_GA.bgl that I created with GA-Traffic.exe and AITM choked on it. It was too big. 78MB or something. AITM as far as I can tell, has trouble with BGL's that are too big. I wound up creating a much smaller Traffic-GA.bgl (23MB) before AITM could handle it.Anybody know if AITM will be refined beyond this "alpha" build?EJ AND
April 21, 200422 yr Have you registered to go on the forum at the download site? He does eventually respond. Also, in FS9, in can handle multiple traffficxxx.bgl files, so why not build discrete files for each airline. This way you can add or remove individual airlines easily without even going into AITM. Perhaps this will keep bgl files small enough for AITM not to choke.I have not worked with it for a while, but it appears to buffer all of the info in RAM, so RAM size is also an issue. Note the clearing ram message when exiting the app.
April 21, 200422 yr Its odd you mention the RAM size issue, as I have opened a 60mb traffic file with AITM and found it worked ok.To be honest with you whenever I use it I am always thinking to myself "why is this alpha?" there isnt anything that strikes me as "buggy", its as stable as anything I have used.Dan.
April 21, 200422 yr I use the latest AITM nearly every day here lately. I've had no problems with it at all. Very helpful tool.KP
April 21, 200422 yr HiAs I see it when I use AITM, it is not totally compatible with FS2004hence it being V2 beta. Some actions that you would want to use will only run in Fs2002.Bob Wright
April 21, 200422 yr I've got to speak up for the alpha release of ATTM as well. I use it regularly and have had no problems in FS9. No bugs noticed and it's a very useful program.
