April 2, 201115 yr Moderator Hello!Had a question... in the case of a large "fly in" like Sun n Fun, is there a release freeing the organizersfrom any liability for damage as a result of a weather occurrence like what happened that's signed by a pilotattending the event? Or is it just like going on a trip to meet a large group of folks, and that's what aircraftinsurance is for if there's a mishap? In any case it was sad to see all of the broken airplanes; the insurance guys are going to be busy!Alan :(

Doubtful in this case, as no one saw this coming. Yes we knew the weather wasn't going to be good, but no one, had forecasted it was going to be this severe. Very rare for Florida, especially this time of year. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
April 3, 201115 yr I went to Sun 'n Fun show today, they really cleaned up well. Apparently in the roof a very big leak or hole formed over the booth during the tornado event but despite everything of ours being soaked, the ELITE equipment sustained no damage. Other than the soggy muddy grass I couldn't believe what happened on Thursday really happened, until I happened to come across a new Archer at Piper's display with a partially crushed cabin and a cracked wing. Overall I had a pretty good time today at the show.
