April 5, 201115 yr Moderator I am my cpu speed is 3.9ghzI have rex 2.0 Overdrive I forget to say that and I turn off UT2 and its still going crazy - the fps this minute is 40 then 2.2 then 4.8 then jump bck up to 30 y its doing thisWhat clouds did you install as far as resolution and 32bit or DXT?What are your water sliders set at?That is a pretty wide variation of FPS you're getting. I'll admit that you're the first person in the 8 years I have been on Avsim that I have actually given my phone number to and accessed their computer via Crossloop to get a problem fix. Sometimes its just plane easier to talk and see your screen than it is to post back and fourth.Anyway, glad that its working better for you, dont go crazy with the sliders now that your getter better performance. I'm glad you liked the choice of REX textures as well. That was about the most realistic look I could get after 3 days of trying MANY combinations of sky sets, but they will look good in a variety of weather condidtions and locations. :( Take it easy and happy flying... :( Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
