April 28, 201115 yr Why would you pay for something that's freeware??? "Caution is the elder brother of wisdom"
April 28, 201115 yr I think we all know how dodgy that repackaged sim is, it has been discussed many times. And as for that news site on the original topic post link, it is an embarrassment. They state in their about page that 'all their writers are experienced authors and journalists, passionate about providing the best'. Well you could have fooled me, because the writing standard is atrocious, and claiming the publication 'writes from a British viewpoint', whatever that is supposed to mean, makes me embarrassed to be British. Having genuinely been an experienced author and journalist in Britain for well over a decade, I can assure the publishers of that website that if they think the drivel on their pages is representative of the kind of writing ability you have to have to be a journo in Britain at even a local level, and be in either the GMPU or the NUJ, then either their writers claiming to be proper experienced journos are lying to them, or they are severely deluded, or most probably both.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
December 12, 201114 yr I also got ripped off. I've been trying to get a refund for about a month now. They come back and try to get me to try something new. Any ideas on how to get a refund other that keep hammering away. I think my next step will be to contact Paypal and see if they have any suggestions. Thanks in advanceHarry

You have rights as a customer, though one month is pushing it! ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
December 18, 201114 yr FWIW- when you pay via PayPal -outside of eBay- you're in a different comfort zone entirely. PayPal has told me that they don't handle complaints against sellers _when the transaction was over the Internet and OUTSIDE of eBay_ anything like you'd expect. I am only saying this as a warning to folks who think that PayPal will somehow provide significant remediation methodology in disputed transactions conducted over the Internet (but outside of PayPal). I use PayPal routinely to protect the security of my credit cards - but I don't expect any type of special protection against being ripped off. Thus if it's a 'suspect' seller - I generally steer well clear even if that seller 'accepts PayPal'.Robert R.
