Flight of the German Queens

Gents'After being inspired from two excellent formation flight threads, I've tried my own.. Not as good but, I sure had fun doing it. (The TCAS didn't find it funny though..)The Princess waits for her Queen :(

Nice pics. However, I must say the title of this thread sounds like a prison-break movie centered around the capers of a bunch of fleeing Teutonic transvestites.Al

Great fun...Years ago I was onboard an MD80 at KSFO, and on the runway adjacent a 747 made ready to roll. Our pilot held back just long enough to turn it into a dragrace, and we had a grandstand view of the big bird lifting off and tucking in the gear - unforgettable! Now a question:The LH tail logo in your pics is quite yellow - I thought it should be the same colour as in your avatar.I ask because I downloaded a repaint recently which is also yellow, and I changed it to suit my AI's orange.Has the colour changed recently?

It's actually orange, but since the logo lights were on and light kept reflecting on the tail, the color went lighter..I used this logo to build my textures:As you can see, It's fairly orange. You can also visit this page:http://users.ncrvnet.nl/mstol/lufthansa.htmlWhich lists all the colors used by LH:)

Don't know if you're the painter of "my" LH 748I...I noticed that the night textures for tail, and also landing light illumination on forward fuselage, are still using the launch aircraft colours!I changed the tail logo to orange, as shown in the other thread here.

I've only painted the PMDG variants.

Nice to see both birds flying together to really see the differences.
