April 28, 201115 yr I want to update my Graphic card and have the following 2 in mind:1) GTX570 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/EVGA+-+GeForce+GTX+570+1.25GB+GDDR5+PCI+Express+2.0+Graphics+Card/2389207.p?id=1218324435018&skuId=23892072) GTX560 Ti http://www.bestbuy.com/site/EVGA+-+GeForce+GTX+560+Ti+1GB+GDDR5+PCI+Express+2.0+Graphics+Card/2389164.p?id=1218324435840&skuId=2389164Which one will be the best performance for the Buck? I have a core i7 2600K and a p67 motherboard but the graphics card I got now is just slowing me down on fsx. (At least i think it is? I have the 9800 GTX+ 512MB) so would it be worth the extra money to get the 570 or just stick with the 560 Ti.Thanks for any replies in advance Brendon Morgan Core i7 2600K Sandy Bridge ASUS P8P67-M Pro Motherboard 4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series GTX 560TI 1GB GDDR5

April 28, 201115 yr Hi,I just built a new FSX rig based on the i7-2600K and P67. I went for the EVGA GTX560Ti and it works real nice. Cools temps. I'm getting around 33C as a system temp.Currently getting 40FPS with the Queen at a complex airport like Frankfurt running at 3.7Ghz.I hope that helps.RegardsMark SpoilerSystem specs: MFG Crosswind pedals| ACE B747 yoke |Honeycomb Bravo throttleNow built: P3Dv5.3HF2: Intel i5-12600K @4.8Ghz | MSI Z690-A PRO | Asus Dual RTX 4070 Super OC 12Gb| 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200Mhz |Samsung 980Evo Pro PCIe 500Gb | WD Black SN850 PCIe 2Tb | WD SA510 4Tb |beQuiet 802 Tower Case|Corsair RM850 PSU | Acer Predator X34P 3440x1440pMark AldridgeMSFS2024 SU5 & P3D v5.3 HF2

May 3, 201115 yr What res monitor do you run and do you use nvidia inspector?If you're running a higher res like 1920x1080 and want lots of AA (8xSQ for example), I'd get the GTX570. Otherwise the 560ti will be fine. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

This card is for FS9 so I don't worry about FPS with my rig, would just like to know what drivers are stable etc. My ATI card died so this is a quick upgrade to get me back in the air. It's been years since I used NVIDIA so not too sure about drivers etc. With ATI the latest drivers were not always the best option. Also yes I will be using inspector, is that not the best way to go?Thanks Rob Prest
May 3, 201115 yr Commercial Member Brendon,Do you play other games besides FS? If so get the 570, if not get the 560. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
