May 15, 201115 yr Ah, still no mountains included. But seriously, a great freeware package even got better. I have to check how those new trees look for example and all my low&slow GA planes will love that stuff. I've dropped a donation to those fine guys offering such things for free.Great shots there, Gerard.
May 15, 201115 yr Yup I downloaded it all, will install today and update my older version.A lot of good work here and greatly appreciated. Bryan Wallis aka "fltsimguy" Maple Bay, British Columbia Near CAM3
May 15, 201115 yr Beautiful stuff, one of the best freeware releases around and look at the coverage you'll get!
May 15, 201115 yr NL2000 is one of the best sceneries around, highly recommended for everybody who wants to fly in the Netherlands. And, I can see my own house! I will be installing the new versions once I am back on my FS PC. May 15, 201115 yr They could easily sell that stuff. You've got very hires textures, nice colours, very high details on the "addon" airports. That's pure VFR fun there since even very low flights give you nice and sharp textures.I think recommending a donation isn't the worst thing to do. :smile:If anyone uses the rather old (and mainly FS2004 aimed) payware he should get rid of it and install this freeware. You won't believe your eyes, but it might need a good system at some locations.
May 15, 201115 yr For what it's worth, I was curious how it would be to fly a 747-8i in and out of Lelystad. May 16, 201115 yr They had some fps heavy areas on 4.0, but the installer app allows you to really take a closer look on all those basic and more detailed parts of the scenery installation, disabling one part while leaving the rest on. If you're running a current i7, this shouldn't be a problem though.Ah, saw your signature now. Well, you may test it and maybe have to leave out this or that detail. Doesn't your i7 clock up very much then, around 3.x or something?I haven't had any problems with Amsterdam so far, it integrates well. Maybe I can do some screenshots later, so you can judge by your preference.Edited. Here are some EHAM shots. Click them for bigger views. The main difference seems to be the colour tone while the boarders are mostly running along the river or the highway, so it integrates well and just shows some "other detail" when really following the highway lines. The contour lines on the other side of the field match very good and the top down view may look worse than it really is when actually flying along the scenery. Here's a shot from the actual overlapping of Aerosoft to NL2000. Perfect contour matching in my eyes.
