What about BEV users ?There are four entries which refer to water in the BEV config :Ocean Height Bump MapBEV Ocean ColourBEV Inland Water ColourBEV Water EnviromentAfter installing the above files I reset all the BEV options to DEFAULT for the above textures , saved and applied my current theme. My water looks different but not at all as nice as the above screen shot.Should I have replaced all the DEFAULT textures first using the BEV config, then install the water files then run BEV ?cheersGreg

I don't use FE so can't say. In fact I tried this mix myself now and probably it's just me but I honestly was more satisfied with the water textures I used before and will switch back to them...the water textures that comes with the Silver Wings 2004 package...also found here in the AVSIM library. As a note I still think the water in that picture looks really great and "alive" but never managed to get that effect nor the color of the water myself.Like already said so many times before, when it comes to these water textures I think they are very much simply a personal taste.

Having tried this I seem to get a pulsating of the water. I also loose aprox. 4FPS does this sound about right or have I set something up wrong.I am running a PIV 3.2 w/1meg of ram and have my frame rate locked at 24. With the new water setting I drop down to 20FPS Do I need to change something or is this about what I am going to see? Thanks Chuck
