Pilot and First Officer Animation

Featured Replies

Hi guys, just wondering if someone can tell me if the Pilot and/or First Officer are animated when we look into the cockpit? I'm assuming the answer is yes, given that this was the case on the JS4100.

Yes it is buddy. On side note would be somewhat concerning if only one pilot was visible.

I meant whether one or both of them was animated - heads, arms moving - or if only one moved while the other didn't, not whether only one or both was visible in the cockpit.

Once again where did you get that info from

Oh ok I assumed you meant whether the pilots were visible. And then your "and/or" threw me off course even more. I don't know the answer. Although I would hope so as this could give hope that the whole cabin has animation

Nonono as in how do you know? Are you a beta tester, has it been state etc

So are you saying that it's possible the pilots aren't visible. Cmon. I dont need to be a beta tester to know this. Do you even own any plane addons.

Oh, not the pilots! I mean how do YOU know these stuff. Where are you getting your information from

Guys,Don't get yourselves all worked up into a frenzy over whether the pilots animate or not. Short answer - yes they always have been animated since the MD-11 days. But we have given the pilots more "life" instead of staring as a zombie, their eyes blink. Anyway back to work,

Shhh, don't tell anyone else this but I heard from a friend of a friend of a guy who's sister works at the local deli and is also a part-time belly dancer (who shall remain annonymous) that the PMDG B777 will have pilots that are so well animated you can see the FO call out "flaps 20" and "gear down" and "I need a pay rise" and "that blonde flight attendant is hot"!!! :( In all seriousness though, blinking eyes shows a very keen eye for detail from the people at PMDG.
