Alaska Airlines, Flight 300, KSEA-KSFO

Featured Replies

Here is a selection of screenshots from my recent re-creation of Alaska Airlines flight AS300 from KSEA to KSFO. Departure time of 20:45. PMDG 737-700.Unfortunately FS9 locked up on me on final, just as I was approaching the FAF! Doesn't get much more frustrating. Still...got some nice pics out it though.Gate C1:15978714.jpg?t=1306182219Taxi out:32556051.jpg?t=1306182267Rotate:32874231.jpg?t=1306182309Oops, left the taxi light on, oh well it looks kinda cool...32882873.jpg?t=1306182353Over the city:33092148.jpg?t=1306182428Wing view:33171054.jpg?t=1306182462Clean aeroplane:33053991.jpg?t=1306182524Through 10,000 and the cloud cover:23718641.jpg?t=1306182577Turning over the FEPOT transition of the HAROB.3 departure procedure:33694016.jpg?t=1306182659In terms of add-ons, all the usual suspects: REX, Ultimate Terrain, FlyTampa, PMDG.Thanks for viewing.S.Reynolds

Nice shots! Although the PMDG 737 is getting old now (My box says 2004, so she´s 7 years old. That´s very old for software.) she´s still top notch and can compete with currently deveolped FS9 addons.

Best regards, Steffen

Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h

Think of getting iFly 737 for FS9. It's way ahead of PMDG's 737. Nice shots btw... too bad it crashed. What happened?

Very Nice shots, I always LOVED the alaska livery for some reason.it is a downer when fs crashes, however since all my time with fs9(bought it the first few weeks of release) I have suffered only about 2 CTD's, Maybe Im just lucky :(

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I shall be getting the PMDG NGX when it's released, but for now the 'ole NG does me fine.As for the crash - this happens every now and then, the screen just goes black and the sim locks up. I haven't quite got this pinned down but it seems to happen when I transfer frequencies on the radio stack, or when the frequencies transfer automaticallyusing Radar Contact.I haven't tested this with other planes yet, so can't pinpoint the problem, and it certainly doesn't happen every flight. Could be RC, could be the PMDG, could be some combination of the both.

Sweet. Great mood and nice selection! Big%20Grin.gif One thing though, there's something definately wrong with #5 and #7... though I guess that's an FS limitation eh? :(

The taxi-light? Yeah - that's more a limitation of the Shockwave 3D lights add-on that I'm using. The taxi-light just hovers in space roughly where the gear would be if it were down - a mere illusion! :)
