August 10, 201114 yr I am an nVidia man but I think if you have got an AMD based system, you are better off going with an ATI. I don't know if they have got better drivers yet. August 10, 201114 yr If going for a single monitor setup with FSx as the main app to run nothing is better than Nvidia. However i just ordered a new system with a 6970 because i wanted to setup a triple monitor setup (5760x1080). ATI beats Nvidia here bigtime.(only way to do the same with Nvidia here is by using Matrox Triplehead but this means another $ 350,00) Off course it all comes down to carefully consideing your requirements (and available cash).Good luck with your 570. I am sure it will serve you well Fred Koch Fred Koch system: r3700x , R9 Fury, Kingston A2000 M2 1Tb system drive and 512GB Samsung EVO 850 app drive. August 10, 201114 yr i bought a ATI 5770 1 GB card about 2 years ago, and then upgraded the mobo and CPU this year, and just coupled it with an AMD black edition CPU, i dont have any issues, i did have issues when i tried to overclock it too much but its fine once brought back stightly. i have no reason to replace it , but if it does cause problems in the future i would get an nvidia card, just to compare FPS im getting 25fps on the ground in uk2000 EGLL , Rex, and NGX. which is good enough for me. (for now)
