January 17, 201214 yr 5.5GHz may not be farfetched under water if this is true. But let's not jump the gun, remember when SB was released that everyone was taking 5GHz for granted?Yeah, everyone was excited about the magical 5, and everyone wanted it. But in the end, only rare chips are gonna do it.
January 18, 201214 yr Tha's rumanian, I used Google translator. They say there's a 5-10% clock for clock which is awesome for a die shrink.Max voltage would be great to know yeah.Any chance that the overclockability will be better than that of current SB chips?
January 18, 201214 yr So would that mean we can pull 5.5 out of the IB? :Drooling: That's the rumor!Remember die shrink means voltage shrink. Both required and *max* voltage. So pumping 1.4v into IB might just be a bad idea. 5.5GHz may not be farfetched under water if this is true. February 14, 201313 yr Stephen, I used your settings some time back and have reset and updated my BIOS since. I don't see your screen shots in the post anymore, am I missing something? I still run an ASUS P8P67 Deluxe and would appreciate seeing your BIOS settings for it again, if possible. Thanks Rick S.
