July 8, 201114 yr Hi BryanI read in one of the other topics you were done or you were almost done the NGX version. As a very happy voice owner for PMDG 747-737 LDS 767 Maddog versions I was wondering what is next. I know in the past you have said you probably wouldn't do a version for the Wilco E-jets . Is there any way you would now. The V2 is pretty good but since FS2crew I don't fly any 2 man flight deck plane unless it has fs2crew :D . I would buy it and I know a lot of other people would too. Sorry if youve answered this in the recent past but i couldn't find anything.thanks lee

July 17, 201114 yr Commercial Member What I´m really missing is a voice commander version for the PMDG MD11!Cheers,HolgerHi Holger,As much as the MD-11 is a great plane, it's going to happen without an SDK.Most notable thing that should hopefully be available next week sometime is FS2Crew's first mobile app for the iPhone: Flight Crew Assistant: 737NG Edition. July 17, 201114 yr Commercial Member Sounds good! Can you tell us some more about it?A bit of a teaser...First release is for the iPhone. Then, if all goes well and the market demand is there, I'll create an iPad version. To give you a sense of what it does, it's a stand-alone app. It does not connect to Flightsim. As such it can work side by side with any Flightsim including X-Plane or whatever else is out there. Or you can just use it by itself. With the app, you can run 737 specific checklists, make PAs, listen to FA cabin announcements, talk to your FA, a list and breakdown of the various 'flows' for the 737NG are also included if you're still learning the plane... one interesting thing is you can import audio files (such as real-world ATC recordings via iTunes) and assign them to various ATC stations you can easily switch to while enroute. It also features day and night lighting. It's basically like a stand-alone FS2Crew except you get the added ATC stuff. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

July 17, 201114 yr Cool! THX for the preview Bryan! :( Any plans to add other planes to the app? Cheers Jan 9800X3D | Asus ROG Astral 5080 | 64GB G.Skill RipJaws | 1T/2T/4T Samsung 990 PRO | Windows 11 | MSFS
July 18, 201114 yr Commercial Member Cool! THX for the preview Bryan! :( Any plans to add other planes to the app?Hi Jan,If I do more planes, it'll follow the current FS2Crew model and use different versions per plane so we can get a "customized" effect that's better than anything more generic. This is my first commercial iPhone app, so it's all speculative.A lot depends on how well the product sells to see if I can justify continuing down the Mobile App line.Best, B. July 18, 201114 yr Commercial Member How much will it cost Bryan? 99cents?Hahahahah, nope!It it was one of the so-called 'fart' apps that have a potential market in the hundreds of thousands, sure. But this is an app for flight simulator enthusiasts, so the market is measured in the hundreds. If I sold it for 99 cents, there's be no point as I may as well just give it out for free then.Cost will be $14.99 USD, or about the price of 2.5 Big Mac meals at McDonalds.Cheers, B.
