July 12, 201114 yr S! I would like to ask if there is some cheaper solution for shipping items to customers. I am from Slovakia and I was thinking about buying a QRH and system posters, which would be approximately 90 USD, an OK price for me plus the price of NGX. But the cheapest shipping according to calculation is 76 USD...rather much as it is almost the price of the items.I hope there is some cheaper possibility Best regardsJan PitorEDIT: Sorry for the spelling in the title Ján Pitor ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ i5-2500K@4,8GHz, Noctua NH-D14, 4G OCZ RAM 1600MHz, 7-7-7-24, GTX 480, 2xSSD (win 7 64b and sims), G940
July 12, 201114 yr I live right next door and i am not much better off. Whom ever ships this stuff for PMDG only covers the shipping within the USA so what happened to me is,after recieving my manual i got another courrier bill for the Canadian portion of the shipping route. What this meen's is, i had to ADD that to what ever the shipping calculation add's up to on the purchase web site. This is beyond the control of PMDG but who ever does, i feel it is a rip-off. The only way i see around it, is if you have a buddy in the USA that will buy and send to you.Best Regards, Rick Hobbs
July 12, 201114 yr BTW, ask that buddy to write some notes with pencil on few pages etc, simply make it look used, this way he can ship it as "USED" and with a little of luck you wont have to pay additional tax, in worst scenario you will have to pay that tax, which you would pay anyway so it's worth the shot. That's how my friends buy music equipment from US, I never tied this because I prefer German craftsmanship
July 12, 201114 yr Author That´s too bad. I suppose they don´t have some kind of European distributor or something... July 13, 201114 yr That´s too bad. I suppose they don´t have some kind of European distributor or something...Unfortunately. It would be great to have foreign distributors of the manuals, but the demand doesn't seem high enough at the moment. Not only that, I don't think Boeing would subsidize any of that. Erik L.

July 14, 201114 yr Author That´s a good idea. It´s a pity the only nearby company flying NG, the Sky Europe, bankrupted about a year ago. But I´ll try Ján Pitor ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ i5-2500K@4,8GHz, Noctua NH-D14, 4G OCZ RAM 1600MHz, 7-7-7-24, GTX 480, 2xSSD (win 7 64b and sims), G940
