It's the panel.cfg file that FSX looks for.

HelloThe sim looks for the associated Aircraft.cfg so just rename the Aircraft.cfg to something like Aircraft.bakOr if you would like a tool to do it in a couple of clicks, D/L Joseph Stearns Addit! prohttp://www.byteforge.com/

The problem is that FSX needs some of the default aircraft so if you effectively delete the cfg file you might crash FSX.Just open the cfg file with note or wordpad of the plane concerned an look for the first few linese.g.[fltsim.0]title=Beech Baron 58sim=Beech_Baron_58Just change the flightsim.0 to flightsim.1 and the plane is gone from the UI.Make sure that you keep the default trike or 172. Upon loading FSX many add-ons definitely need a default plane to properly initialize!

HelloAddit! pro will not allow the Cessna 172 , Trike or any default aircraft you have chosen for your default flight to be hidden for that very reason. All the rest can be hidden along with any payware you are not using, speeds up the aircraft selection screen nicely.certainly easier and quicker than trawling through directories renaming files manually.
